Soccer is a game played with a ball.
It's kick, kick, kick and score--
If you are lucky.
Soccer is a sport for all.
It's kick, kick, kick and score--
If you are lucky.
Soccer is a sport for all.
Less contact than some other sports,
You can build some great leg muscles too.
Doesn't matter what position you play.
You can still end up looking like a real big dork.
The object of course is to score.
Got to get the ball in the net,
In order to score the point.
Then the crowd will roar!
When the game is over,
You may feel tired and drained,
Especially if playing in the hot, hot sun.
But it's totally worth it for the soccer lover!
Soccer is here to stay!

Nicely written, Karen. :-)
Nice poem, and you've captured it, except all the time waiting for someone to score...or is that only for the spectators?
