I was excited. I was about to see history in the making. I looked around me. Everywhere around me I could see a sea of green and blue representing the Seattle Sounders FC's Major League soccer team. I felt sorry for the New York Red Bulls. I knew all the tickets were sold to the game. Where were the fans of the Red Bulls? Then, I remembered. As we were entering Quest Field, we had seen someone wearing the New York Red Bulls colors. One out of more than 32,000 Sounders Fans.

The game started. Fans stood up for almost the entire game. Forward Fredy Montero said, "I liked Seattle a lot already, but now I like it a little more," Montero said. "I think the people supported us so well."

The Sounders fans were not disappointed. Two midfielders, Osvaldo Alonso and Sebastien Le Toux worked together and created an opening for Montero ten minutes and fifty nine seconds into the game. Montero made the first goal! To celebrate, Alonso, Montero and another Latino player, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado danced the "El Moto" (the motorbike). The dance involved getting into a line and pumping their arms like a motorbike's engine.

Twenty five minutes into the match, another goal was scored. Montero passed the ball to midfielder Brad Evans. He scored a goal in between Danny Cepero's the Red Bulls' legs. The score was 2-0. Wow, this was turning into an exciting game.

After the second half the Red Bulls did their best to keep Montero from the goal. The Sounders FC's defense worked hard to keep the Red Bulls from making a goal. Kasey Keller, the Sounders' goalkeeper made amazing saves. Then, something wonderful happened. Fredy Montero made another goal. The score board read 3-0.

I wondered if the Sounders would let the Red Bulls make a goal. Or would the game be over for the Red Bulls? Sadly, for the New York Red Bulls it was. The game ended with the score 3-0. As 32,523 people cheered again, I wondered if I was going to go hoarse tomorrow. I smiled to myself. It would be all worth it.
