Social Distortions at Fox

Where Does it End?

Once there was a time when the thought of brainwashing individuals was something to be used during the Cold War. We saw movie after movie depicting scenarios around this social distortion. Then the idea became passé, it was simply too simple. Then, lo and behold, the practice of brainwashing became a reality once again in the United States.

It seems that the 20th Century Fox corporation has been planting small political brainwashing advertisements within some of its most popular television shows. Rupert Murdoch is so proud of that fact, he actually boast about it. According to Rupert Murdoch himself the Fox Corporation aided the former President George W. Bush and his administration in promoting the war in Iraq. That was in 2003.

If you were to visit Myspace.com, there is currently a video showcasing just what they have been involved with. Many of the Fox popular television shows have proved to be prime platforms for the application of such brainwashing. Many of these shows are globally popular where many of its stars, along with the executives, are proud to be involved in such endeavors.

The video mentioned has text attached and states, "In 2006, News Corp. embarked upon a company-wide initiative to reduce the size of its carbon footprint." In order to accomplish this goal messages were placed in some of the more popular shows, the Simpsons, Family Guy, and Prison Break about the dire need of solving the social problem of global warming. According to Fox executives this was a practical means to making a difference in an already socially distorted world.

The only way to brainwash the population that the science of global warming is a reality was by creating a campaign with the cooperation and coordination of writers for each popular television series. The popular characters of each show were perfect for achieving their goals to embrace the ideas of a global warming manifesto.

According to Fox Chairman Dana Walden the best and most successful method to communicate these ideas was to take the current production practices and change them to include social messages about global warming and the changes necessary to avoid its disastrous effects.

So, by loading the propaganda on the backs of popular TV characters, Fox has managed to passively infuse the acceptance of the global warming reality into the social fabric of millions. What we must realize is that such a process of political messages being implanted in fictional television shows is very receptive in the brains of the general public. Past studies and experiments have shown time and again that this method of delivery is very effective. Advertisers worldwide spend millions, if not billions of dollars a year, on the production and placement of advertisements within these popular television shows.

Modern a television was once believed to be the greatest educational tool around. Certainly, none of us ever believed it would be used to educate millions worldwide of the threats of global warming and the climate changes it creates. What Fox and Murdoch have admitted to is almost beyond belief. How such a corporation can re-educate millions of people in America and abroad, through their use of drama, comedy and cartoons, while continuing to embed their hands in the financial pockets of the public at large is not just scary but terrifying.

This information is based on the one year old report below. If the Fox corporation could be so involved, then what other propaganda have we been subjected to in the recent past. Was this part of the ploy to attract more Barrack Obama? Is this the means used to push America into trillions of dollars of debt? Does democracy fail when its people can no longer determine for themselves in a sane and logical manner a path to follow? Is this the beginning of the end, or the beginning of the so called New Order?
