That was 1776 when a young nation called America was granted the Declaration of Independence.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
America is a Democratic Republic but the liberals want to turn it upside down and institute a socialistic government and society. The blatant in your face of lies, pandering, privacy invasions, and total arrogance has now become the cornerstone of the President Barack Obama administration as well as the Democratic leadership that it boggles the mind. They have begun a war, a war against freedom and total disregard of why they were elected -- elected to serve us -- not we the people to serve them.
It is a wonder that America has survived this long, but it has, due to God's grace and the idea of man to keep this nation free from autocratic thugs who believe they are kings -- liberals, I have news for you -- we kicked out kings long ago; looks like you're next come 2010 elections.
President Obama's list of lies and deceit since taking office -- actually since he ran to be President -- has begun to mount and shows no signs of slowing down.
Take for instance this lie he stated on September 12. 2008 in Dover, NH, "I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes"
Within 16 days of taking office, he passed a 156 percent increase on tobacco taxes which squarely hit the middle and lower income Americans. Regardless of how one feels about tobacco, a tax is a tax, no matter what it's on. All Liberals were for this bill.
President Obama, congratulations on signing the fastest tax increase ever within 30 days of taking the oath of office of any President in U.S. History.
The listing of Obama's lies as well as other Democrat Liberals is quite long and if I tried to list them all, I will use up too much bandwidth and besides, it is interesting to see which one is rising faster, the national debt or their lies, deceit, and criticism of anyone who disagrees with them -- I place my bet on the debt slowing down before the liberals do.
However, nothing really kicked the Washington bottom harder than this healthcare reform -- for the confused -- the opposition is over nationalized (Socialist) healthcare, not reform and yes, there is a difference.
First, there were the tea parties opposing tax increases, and now, a much larger grassroots -- sorry Speaker Pelosi, Astroturf is what is laid on football fields in case you didn't know -- has begun concerning this healthcare legislation thrown in the faces of Americans thinking all of us are stupid to not know what is in it.
My late father used to say that a sucker is born every minute. I think the supply of suckers was ordered for the White House and for some in Congress.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) have now raised the stakes up a notch as noticed in an op-ed piece in the USA Today paper that they now call anyone opposed to this socialistic government controlled healthcare, "un-American". Sorry Nancy and Steny, the only thing "un-American" is not to serve the people as your oath to office dictates -- would you like the oath to be re-read at a much slower pace so you can absorb what that oath means?
Now, you have to give the liberals and the White House some credit for ingenuity and creativity. The Obama campaign and Obama himself ran on the notion that former President GW Bush was the evil one and if elected, he was here to save us and everyone would live in a mansion by the stroke of his wand -- within a year of course.
I mean, who would have thought that turning your neighbor in---yes, granny and grand pappy, that means you too -- to the White House was a grand idea just because you disagree and have provided proof of serious flaws in this healthcare bill or any other liberal bill for that matter?
And for the grand-daddy of them all -- Those who oppose and criticize this socialist healthcare legislation are now members of the Ku Klux Klan. Yes, you read it correctly; the Klan membership has just gained millions of new members in less than 30 days. I don't make these things up folks, but Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) sure did.
Freedom of speech and the right to stand and protest grievances against the government is a constitutional right in this United States of America, a Republic no less. Liberals may hate it, but that is how it is and Iran is open for tourism every day of the year. I am sure their Islamic governmental ways is far better for you than what our Founding Fathers envisioned and fought and died for.
Americans will continue to stand up and be counted whether the liberal Democrats like it or not. It is not un-American to stand and be heard and you better get used to it because it will not end because you want it to.
The American people have awakened and realized of whom they elected and it is just not Republicans or as you liberals call them, The Right-Wing Extremist Terrorists - some Democrats, Independents, both the young and old and across race and ethnic lines have caught on to the con-game and they do not like what they see.
Notice to Liberals - The people you see at the Town Hall meetings are not right-wing extremists but average citizens of Middle America and yes, they have brains too.
Americans want "some" healthcare reform but not have their entire healthcare needs and wants dictated by anyone in Washington. In case you Democrats and Liberals didn't know, it is not your job to control every aspect of people's lives. As a matter of fact, it is not even constitutional.
From tax increases to socialist healthcare, the motto "Don't Tread on Me" is back. Get used to that motto; it won't be disappearing anytime soon.
The use of thug tactics by certain union members, regular thugs, and just all-around thugs, informants, and intimidation were tactics used by communists and to have members of Congress and the White House use such tools against those who dare to use their 1st Amendment rights to free speech, nearly amounts to a treasonous act. This is very near of saying that these acts are a cause for an impeachment offense based on high crimes and misdemeanors as outlined in the impeachment process, as defined under the U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section -4 that states -- The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
I wonder if anyone has ever brought that up. Think anyone in Washington would listen?
If they are, they better up the budget to hire more PR teams because the PR teams presently in the liberal camps is about dried up and none of them know the U.S. Constitution very well.
