Under troubling skies
I can no longer open my eyes

Feel nothing but sadness and sorrow
I do not yearn for morrow
Death and destruction
Fill all tv production
All I hear are grumbles
As society crumbles
I ask, where is all the love?
While people pray to the false god above
Earth falling apart
Compassion leaving everyones heart.
All I can do is look on
As the world becomes withdrawn

Well that was depressing, but I agree with you completely! All we seem to see on television is crime, war, terrorism, and other tragedies. So rarely do we see or hear about the good things in life, like people helping each other, or things going right. It's enough to drag you down. Very nice poem, I like it.
