Society Dictates

Oh drinking alcohol is ok because 90% of the public does it. HUH?? Why in the world do people make statements like this one? Do they have no minds of their own ,or do they just need an excuse to do something they know is not good for them? And what about this is for boys and that is for girls? I mean yeah, the pink high heels have got to go in the girl category, but the toy truck?

I listen as the man says ,"That's a guy movie." Ok, well I know men who do not like seeing people blown up and torn to shreds. I know men who do not think someone has to die or lose limbs for a movie to be good. Why do we put such stereotypes on people? Can a man enjoy a movie with heart? Can a woman like a little action and adventure? I say sure ,why not ,but a large percentage of the public grew up this way and for some odd reason is stuck within the box their parents allowed society to place them in.

People are so used to making excuses for their actions based on what everybody else is doing that they are hurting themselves and giving up things they could enjoy. The sad thing is everybody is not actually doing these things. I mean ,hey, doing drugs is just fine if Larry down the street does it. I mean we know Larry has an IQ of 30 ,but he does it and that makes it ok. The reasoning makes no sense. Like, I cannot watch that movie, it has meaning. I am a guy and that is not what any of us watch. The drugs will kill your body and brain even if Larry says it is ok. The movie could change your view of things in life if you let it in.

There is also the fact that right and wrong exist. No one seems to think that anymore.Yet, when a person does something wrong, they always suffer in some way. It is a given and just the scheme of things. The mentality of everything is just ok and we are free flying always fails.

I am tired of all of the excuses people make. I am tired of people with no common sense or thoughts of their own. I am tired of the nastiness that stems from it all. I pray people start seeing the truth and stop being brainwashed soon.
