Some changes are now apparent, some are just well underway. For example, the transforming concepts in capitalism are already noticeable and will later own show that international capitalist systems will breakup into several vernaculars, whether or not these languages will clash or agree, is a question yet to be addressed in the future. In the United States, sociologists and experts have predicted some essential changes that will happen in the country in the next ten years of which Internet is highly involved. Some of these changes are as follows:
• News organizations and publishing - attention to traditional media such as newspapers is slowly dying because of the rise of web "blogs" which encourages mind-share is more preferred.
• Education - online trainings and education can address teacher shortages and can offer more convenience to students
• Wok places - while physical presence is still important, high-tech information and communications structure continues to fashion a novel form of a well-distributed organization
• Medicine and Health Care - it transforms not only the way medical people communicates with each other, but also the way patients and medical experts provide/share medical information to each other. It upholds paperless operations as it delivers care at a distance.
• Politics and Government - transparency in the government will be more apparent as everything will be accessible in the Internet
• Music, literature, drama, film and the arts - the ability to upload personalized reality shows will allow people to become famous even for a matter of 15 minutes; Internet will also continue to transform the artists-public relationships through Internet-based trends
• International Relations - the world, through the Internet, will get a nervous system wherein all transactions and options will pass through.
• Military - military surveillance through the Internet will continue to flourish as technology continues to advance
Indeed, Internet will play a big role in Sociologists' endeavors to research on issues that matters in the society. The fact remains however, that though it will greatly help Sociologists to become more effective in their field, Internet will remain as a device, a means to make research more efficient, personal touch is still of great advantage.
