Scent and Quality: Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm has a light vanilla scent that is quite enjoyable. The lip balm goes on smooth and clear. It is supposed to provide SPF 20 protection from UV rays, which is a great benefit to consumers. Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm does not leave any film or paste on the lips like some other moisturizers. You will be able to notice that it actually does absorb into the lips instead of being a layer that just sits on top of them.
The active ingredients in Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm are Dimethicone (2%), Octinoxate (7.5%), Octisalate (3%), and Oxybenzone (3%). Inactive ingredients in Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm include Butylated Hydroxytoluene, Cetyl Alcohol, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Flavor, Menthol, Ozokerite, Squalane, Vitamin E, White Petrolatum, Myristyl Lactate, Myristyl Laurate, Myristyl Myristate.
Price: Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm costs $3.99 but can be found cheaper at some online stores. It appears to be costly at drugstores and grocery stores. My perception of this lip moisturizer was that it is expensive. However, I began to consider the amount of lip balm that comes in each package and changed my perspective. Since you get two tubes of the moisturizer with one purchase, Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm is a relatively affordable product.
Verdict: Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm is inexpensive no matter how little room your spending budget allows. It has an attractive design that the average consumer may perceive is ideal for women only. However, Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm is more than likely a product that can be enjoyed by men as well. Since there are two lip moisturizers in one pack, you may not have to make a new purchase for two months. Soft Lips Vanilla Lip Balm is not sticky and helps to add moisture for a few hours. If your lips are dry, it will have to be reapplied a few times throughout the day. That is a worthwhile task because this product is effective in keeping lips very soft.
