Soft and Strong - Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper

Susan Slade
When it comes to toilet paper I will only buy quality paper. I remember back in my childhood when we had 'Izal' toilet rolls in England. They were single ply rolls of shiny paper. They were rough on your bottom, and didn't do a good job at all.

When I first came to America I bought store brand toilet rolls, because I didn't know that brand ones were better.

Then a few years ago Cottonelle toilet rolls were on sale, and I purchased a couple of large packs. From the moment we used this brand, it was the only one for our household.

Len's daughter, and family came to visit, and of course used the bathroom. I got a phone call from her, saying that her son, Len's grandson wanted to know the brand of toilet roll we used, because it was better than any brand they had used.

I continued to buy Cottonelle, and on odd occasions purchased Northern, or Charmin, but are always disappointed, and wonder why I wanted to save a dollar or two.

Recently I received in the mail a mini toilet roll, as a sample from Walmart. It was Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper. It states: 'Now with more cushiony comfort!" I didn't think it could get even better than before.

I removed my quarter size roll of toilet paper, and felt how thick it was. There is no chance of my fingers going through this one. The sheets are double thick, and have ridges/lines going down them.

This is a really gentle toilet paper, and is soft enough for the most sensitive skin. After you use it you feel clean.

I received a $1 off coupon to use on my next purchase of a 12-pack, and also a sample of Cottonelle Fresh flushable moist wipes.

This is a keeper for this household, and whenever I think about saving money, I will remember that my rear end deserves the best quality, and only purchase Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper.

Cottonelle is a registered trademark of Kimberly-Clark Worldwide Inc. It is a small world because I lived in Maidstone, Kent, England, and the Kimberly-Clark factory was in West Malling, which is a village on the outskirts of Maidstone. I used to pass it everyday on my way to work. Just checked on the Internet and it is still there.
