I love to bathe with quality body washes, but I also like to save money too. This affordable line of beauty products from Softsoap fits both bills. For less than four dollars per eighteen fluid ounce container, this brand offers refreshing and moisturizing body washes. While I enjoy all the different varieties of this line, the Shea Butter Creme is my absolute favorite.
The richness of this shower product is evident as soon as the first dollop is applied to the shower poof. It exits the bottle slowly, filling the fibers of the bathroom essential with a thick and creamy layer. A sure sign of a quality body wash is a rich consistency, instead of a runny and thin stream that barely covers a washcloth or body mitt. The fact that just a quarter sized dollop of this wash is all that is needed for an enjoyable and thorough shower or bath makes me feel as though I certainly get my money's worth.
Another plus of this product is the inviting scent. It smells very fresh and clean, with hints of both coconut and fresh flowers. The combination of enticing and invigorating aromas makes this product a welcome treat on a cold winter's morning. It is not overly sweet, nor overly strong. It strikes the perfect balance between subtlety and sweetness. Lesser quality body washes often go overboard with the scents, making it too strong and too overpowering to be enjoyable. This is certainly not the case with this body wash.
Perhaps the best element of this beauty product is the wonderful moisturizing effect. This wash is infused with moisture beads which definitely get the job done. My skin feels very balanced and well hydrated after showering. The positive effects last long after application and greatly reduce the dry itchiness that is so prevalent during the winter. I find myself needing to use far less lotion on my skin after indulging in this product, which saves me more money in the long run.
I truly can not say enough about this body wash. I love the fact that it is available in grocery stores, drugstores and discount department stores. I appreciate the low price and the fact that it lives up to it's claims. It may not have a flashy brand name or be displayed on the shelves of high end shops or boutiques, but it definitely makes this gal much happier and more comfortable on the coldest days of the year. I rate this Softsoap body wash a full five star beauty rating and give it my most enthusiastic recommendation. For such a low price, wide availability and high quality, there is simply no other comparable product on the market.
