Software Review: NOD 32 Antivirus

While using NOD 32 Antivirus I found the use of the product easy to navigate and pretty east to use. But, to test this product, I installed a known virus onto one of my test machines and ran the virus scanner to see if it would detect it. I made sure to update everything I could for the software including the virus definitions database, but when I ran the scan it did not find the virus, but when I ran another product that I trust and use frequently, it found the virus in a matter of two minutes. There is no reason why it should not have found the virus, when it is old and a known virus...

They have a bunch of charts and graphs on the developer's website that shows how it is better than the rest, but I say give NOD 32 Antivirus a try and you'll just be disappointed. There are many other antivirus programs out there and I would suggest that you go and try one of those before thinking about using NOD 32 Antivirus. The only good aspect is the malware protection, but I'd rather use other products to handle my malware and spyware threats. I give NOD 32 Antivirus 2/5 stars only for that fact that it failed the very first test I tried...
