Angel always near,
You've often calmed my deepest fear.
Beside my bed in constant prayer,

Eyes of blue so bright and bold,
Hair that shines just like the sun,
Protect me from the Evil One.
Stay beside me through the day.
Protect me as I work and play.
Solaris, you're my constant friend,
So stay right here until the end.
When Heaven's gates swing open wide,
And I with rapture step inside,
I hope to see the friend I love,
Solaris, sent from realms above.
