My Love for My Angel
She smiles and giggles and grins.
It's hard to believe that she will go non-stop
and wake up before the day even begins.
Her energy seems to be boundless.
She jumps and twirls all around.
She must use those pink bunny batteries
Because she never seems to wear down.
Her temper is stormy, her demeanor is sweet
she runs me ragged and leaves me feeling beat.
This child so angelic while she reposes in sleep.
Her spirit so fragile, her innocence I vow to keep.
Her joy knows no limits
Her love knows no end.
Her beauty astounds me
Her screams, my sanity bends.
She's loud and unruly
I can't let her win
I put her finally to sleep
then tommorow it begins all again.
How lovely she makes life
I treasure her love
This child, my angel.
My gift from above.
