Solid Ground

Finding the roots that had been placed firmly
within solid ground.
A place for my limbs to be outstretched.
Welcoming the life I have found.

Sometimes life gets uprooted,
and the seeds of time are planted elsewhere.
A place for bringing happiness,
with wildflowers growing everywhere.

I have gone to that place within thought.
Searched the soul over, for the key.
I've broken down walls that guarded my heart.
Unveiled my eyes, for beauty to see.
