Soliloquy for Solyndra - Solar Execs "Plead the Fifth" as Taxpayers Are Fed "Bad Medicine"

When the government hands out "Money for Nothing," sometimes it results in "Things That Make You Go Hmmm." Such is the case with Solyndra, a bankrupt solar company that claimed it was "Takin' Care of Business."

But when things didn't work out, this "House of the Rising Sun" decided to "Take the Money and Run," leaving the American taxpayers "Crying in the Rain." One of the reasons is because solar energy is still considered a "Weird Science," and sometimes there just "Ain't No Sunshine," even for those "On the Sunny Side of the Street."

Now the American people are crying "Liar, Liar" and Cheater, Cheater" as Solyndra execs "Plead the Fifth," and government officials say "Ain't That a Shame" and look for a scapegoat.

When money "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" started brewing on the Solyndra horizon, government officials said, "I Know There's Something Going on," yet this "Chain of Fools" restructured Solyndra's loan, putting taxpayers last.

Now allegations of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" and money-laundering schemes are "Blowing in the Wind" over Solyndra's financial "Heartbreaker," while the "Taxman" is contemplating how to squeeze more "Money" out of everybody.

Meanwhile, the American people are saying "Shame on You" for being "Backstabbers." While they were busy "Working For a Living," czars and dictators in Washington were acting like "Gypsies Tramps and Thieves," and should end up doing the "Jailhouse Rock" for being so "Insensitive."
