Sol's Cleaning in St. Louis - a Review

Sol's Cleaning was my only option at the time I chose to use the carpet company's services. Something told me to stick with what I knew. But my basement had been leaking for days due to the enormous amount of rain we were getting.

The beginning of my experience with Sol's Cleaning was dismal. For one thing Customer service is a huge part of running a successful business. If you don't have great customer service then you aren't catering to your customers. When I first called to set up an appointment with Sol's, I was put on hold for more than 20 minutes. I have patience, and I believe that being patient will yield to be beneficial in the end.

Not only was I put on hold for more than 20 minutes I was confronted by someone who wasn't in a great mood. There attitude was horrible and not only was it horrible but I felt extremely rushed. I couldn't really explain my problem all because they were trying to get me off the phone.

Sol's Cleaning was supposed to arrive at my home the following morning before noon, and guess what. They didn't get to my house until around 2 that afternoon. I was a bit irritated because I had plans for that day. There was no reason for me to cry over spilled milk, so I let the carpet cleaner do what he needed to do.

As far as the cleaning of my carpet, I will admit that they did a great job with getting up the water in a timely manner. After he finished with soaking up my carpet, he sprayed it with a deodorizer to help get rid of the mild smell it was producing. Once he actually cleaned the carpet, he set out a few fans to help the carpet dry out quicker.
I was given a discount on my carpet cleaning for the bad experience I had when I first called their company, which was unexpected. I was in the middle of conversing with the carpet cleaner, and he was really concerned about what happened.

So I can say that their service as a whole is tremendous and I would love to do service with them again. The only thing I would personally suggest is that they work a little harder on their customer service skills.
