Solutions to Relieve Pain in Teething Babies, Colicky Babies
Hyland's Homeopathic 100% Natural Solutions
Thanks to many parent's reviews on babycenter.com, four years ago I was introduced to Hyland's Teething Tablets. I located these at the local grocery store in the baby section and gave them a try. We were impressed with the effectiveness and used them when necessary. Giving medication to a child is never easy, but these quick dissolving tablets that have a taste of vanilla gave us no problem at all. I also referred friends and family members with infants to try them because they had worked successfully for us. Hyland's Teething Tablets are also less expensive than Tylenol or other pain relievers. These teething tablets can be used in infants up to 2 years of age and a box with nearly 100 tablets cost less than $6.00.
Years later after teething was merely a memory of the past, I was at our local natural food store and came across some additional Hyland's products. To my surprise, they have several different items for children such as Calms Forte 4 Kids. The box advertises that it "helps kids settle down so they can fall asleep naturally". I was curious and read the back of the box to find that it relieves symptoms of restlessness, sleeplessness, night terrors, and growing pains. The dark circles under my eyes and constant yawning was probably a dead give-away to the clerk as I checked out, she just looked at me and smiled as she scanned the box and put it into the bag.
Exactly as I had hoped, the quick dissolving tablets worked and a good night's sleep was welcomed. I also sent some to my child's daycare so that they could give him some before naptime-he likes to stay up and talk while the other children are sleeping.
Honestly, I have taken these tablets myself a couple of times when I could not stop thinking of all the things I needed to do the next day. I felt a warm calm come over my body and I drifted off to sleep.
The directions are for children age 2 and up, so if you have a pre-teen having a hard time winding down from playing with friends or the daily stress of school and sports this sleep solution can help them get some rest too.
While shopping, I noticed several other children sleep aid products available that were twice the cost and much larger pills that had to be chewed. Not only is the Hyland's product safe an deffective with small desolving tablets, it is affordable as well. A box of 125 tablets cost around $6.00
Other products for infants that Hyland's offers is Children's Colic Tablets - The advertisement on the box reads "Colic Tablets are a homeopathic formula providing soothing relief for babies suffering from mild indigestion and sudden gas pains." Though I have not used this solution personally, because Hyland's other solutions have successfully met our needs, I would reccommend giving this product a try!
These and many more products can be found at your local natural food store and some grocery stores. For more information, customer feedback and coupons, visit Hyland's Homeopathic Solutions at www.hylands.com/products/teething.php
