While there are many establishments that offer Happy Hours in St. Louis, the choice of which to patronize is largely up to individual taste, comfort and the proximity of the travel from the job site. I have listed my preferences for the best happy Hours in St. Louis based upon diversity, location and specials offered.
St. Louis Sports Zone
113 Kenrick Plaza
Shrewsbury, MO 63119
The parking lot is spacious in this strip mall, but at times a space near the door is difficult to find. When you walk through the door, you immediately see why. The place is large, but packed full of customers drinking their favorite drinks; eating their favorite foods; watching sports on the numerous TVs hanging from the walls ( I stopped counting at 50); having a Happy Hour in St. Louis.
Happy Hour is every day from 4PM-7PM. Appetizers are 30% off (the wings are great and the nacho supreme large) and domestic and draft beers run around $2.25. There are other drink specials depending on the day of your visit.
Nick's Pub
6001 Manchester
St. Louis, Mo 63110
Nick's is more of a dive than a fine dining and drinking establishment, but located in the Dogtown neighborhood of St. Louis it attracts Happy Hour celebrants from miles around. Happy Hours run from 4PM-7PM Monday- Friday and 5PM-7PM on Saturday. Appetizers are 50%(9 layer dip or stuffed quesadillas are my favorite). Bud products are $1 and domestic bottles $1.50. Well drinks are $1 off.
Good prices, diverse crowd and try your hand at the dart boards.
Hacienda
9748 Manchester
Rock Hill, MO 63119
I would venture to say that some of the older Happy Hour goers no longer show up, but their kids probably do for one of the best happy Hours in St. Louis. Hacienda has been around since the 70's and Happy Hour is in session from 4PM-7PM, Monday -Friday and 11AM-3PM on Saturday. Monday features $3 appetizers (try the chile and spinach queso) and the rest of the week specials like $4 margaritas or $2 bottled beer.
Trophy Room
5099 Arsenal
St. Louis, MO 63139
Here is one for the 3rd shift workers. The Trophy Room is a real dive; neighborhood bar; hole-in-the-wall, but it opens at 6AM and Happy Hour runs until 10AM. Cheap beer, smoky bar and a juke box. What else could you ask for?
