I'd be really happy if the "notify me when someone leaves a comment" button really worked. I find it rarely lets me know that someone has left a comment.
I'd also like it if there were a system whereby if someone responds to a comment you've left somewhere you could be informed.
I am finding it just about impossible to keep track of where I've been. And I surely have been getting around.
I know I've read some really interesting articles, and left comments but I cannot find my way back to see if the writer has responded.
I notice that AC do accept advertising revenues from Australian companies yet I find it inconsistent that Australian writers such as myself cannot be offered upfront payments for articles. If AC have found a way to accept money from Australian advertisers then perhaps it should not be too much of a quantum leap to work out how to pay Aussies.
In fact for nearly a decade now I've been working online part-time for American companies (and an Israeli one) and getting paid into Paypal.
I've even filled in several 'alien forms' for the IRS Dept over the years too - and I could surely do one more for AC? I'd be happy to be an AC alien.
Come on AC - let the cash flow cut both ways!!
And finally I'd like to make a comment relating to categorizing. I wish we had the ability to categorize articles. I note there are a few of us who write across different spectrums. There are also journalist type people who write on anything - anything at all.
Though there are also people such as myself who wish to keep to topics with which they have familiarity.
And there are many topics in my field as I'm pretty old now and I've studied diversely and worked diversely too. And I understand that some of my readers may not wish to span all my areas of expertise.
Readers riveted by my psychic stuff might not be interested in my articles about crime and visi versae. Readers interested in my health related articles (though I haven't yet managed to write many of these) may not be interested in serial killers.
That's it. I'm pretty happy to be here, wish I could get paid and have met some interesting people in here.
Thanks guys :-)

Post a CommentThanks for your support dina. Yeh - they will pay us Ausiies - but only for PV (page views) and then only up to 600 per annum - which is related to the USA tax thresholds. Like I said - I can sign an 'alien form' - which i've had to do for other places i earn money.
