Some Ferndale City Officials Have Nothing Good to Say About Ferndale

On October 22^nd of this year, I sent emails to Ferndale Mayor Craig Covey, Councilman Mike Lennon, and Councilwoman Melanie Piana asking for their help with an assignment. I explained in the email that I was a local writer who was working on a local project with Associated Content from Yahoo! and Yahoo! I asked them to comment on the strengths of Ferndale, and the untapped potential that the city held.

I find myself two weeks later with only one email to show for my troubles. You can read the very impressive message that I received back from Ferndale Mayor Craig Covey, here. After two weeks, Councilman Mike Lennon and Councilwoman Melanie Piana still have not responded.

I pointed out in the emails that this was their opportunity to help Ferndale shine on a possibly nation-wide stage. I provided a link to my work so that they could see that the request was legitimate. The lack of a response leads me to wonder if Councilman Mike Lennon and Councilwoman Melanie Piana can't think of anything positive to say about Ferndale.
