Acne: Mix the juice of two Garlic cloves with an equal amount of Vinegar and dab it on the pimples. Simmer one sliced medium onion in 1/2 cup of honey until the onion is soft. Then mash the mixture into a smooth paste and apply it on Pimples. Make a paste of Neem leaves with honey and apply on pimples. You can also prepare a paste of either turmeric and Neem leaves or Turmeric and Sandalwood and apply on the affected area.Prepare a paste of Fenugreek leaves (methi leaves) and apply it every night and wash the effected area with the lukewarm water, when the paste gets dry.
Asthma: Take a teaspoon of turmeric powder with a glass of milk, two or three times daily. It acts best when taken on an empty stomach. Take 3-4 dry Figs; wash them well with warm water. Soak overnight in a cup of water. Eat them first thing in the morning and also drink the water. Do this for at least 2 months. Drink 1/4 cup onion juice, a tablespoon honey, and 1/8 tablespoon Black Pepper. Separate and peel the cloves of three entire Garlic bulbs. Simmer them in a pan with 2 cups of water. When the Garlic cloves are soft and there's about a cup of water left in the pan, remove the Garlic and put it in a jar. Then, add 1 cup of Cider Vinegar and 1/4 cup of honey to the water that's left in the pan, boiling the mixture until it's syrupy. Pour the syrup over the garlic in the jar. Cover the jar and let it stand overnight. Make a tea with tender leaves of Adulsa, Ginger, Aniseed, Tulsi (Basil) leaves, Flaxseeds, Black pepper, Lemon grass, Black Raisins and add Honey to it just before consuming it.
Anemia: Daily intake of 3-4 pieces of dry figs along with 2 apricots and Raisins, Honey, Beet juice, Spinach juice, and Grape juice helps in combating Anemia.
Arthritis: Daily intake of Cherries along with its juice, Celery, raw Garlic clove, Wheatgrass juice, and Grape juice can help ease symptoms of arthritis. Consumption of Ginger, Licorice, Turmeric, and Mustard also provides relief from pain. Prepare garlic paste and apply it on the affected area. It is an effective homeremedy for arthritis.Mix 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder, 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder and 2 teaspoon of lemon juice in warm water and drink it every morning.
Athletes foot: Apply crushed Garlic paste or Onion paste at the site of infection. Paste of Neem and Tulsi (Basil) leaves with salt can also be applied. Boil Neem leaves and Camphor in Coconut oil and apply the oil after cooling down.
Atherosclerosis: Eat 3-4 cloves of Garlic daily mixed with Lemon juice, boil 3-4 cloves of Garlic with Apple Cider and drink the syrup, daily intake of Honey, raw potatoes and papaya also helps. Daily intake of Ginger, Amla and Black pepper is also beneficial.
Boils: Onion, when boiled, mashed and used as a poultice - works as a very good remedy. One can also apply crushed Garlic on the boils. Paste made of Neem leaves and Turmeric also gives relief.
Common cold: Make a concoction by boiling Ginger and black pepper, add honey and Lemon juice to it and drink. Echinacea is also effective, Eating Raw Garlic and Onions also help. Eat at least 3-4 Amla (Indian Gooseberry) a day since it is a powerhouse of Vitamin C.
Conjunctivitis: Make a concoction by boiling Coriander seeds, Mint leaves And Tulsi leaves with water, allow it to cool, add Amla Juice, Honey and Rose water to it-refrigerate this decoction and wash your eyes with the cool concoction. Placing slices of raw potato on top of your eyelids also helps.
Constipation: Take wheatgrass juice on empty stomach every morning. Drinking lemon juice mixed with warm water two to three times a day eases constipation. Isabgol (Phyllium husk) is also effective; drinking juice of white onion also helps. Consumption of Guava and Papaya also help. Add 2-3 teaspoon of Flaxseeds to one glass of water and have it early morning on empty stomach. Taking a teaspoon of virgin olive oil in the morning also helps.
Corns: Apply a slice of Pineapple on the Corn-it should be in contact with the corn for at least 12-14 hours. Applying a slice of lemon on the corn also helps. Rubbing Castor oil and vinegar on the corn can also be effective. Applying crushed onion on the corn also can help. Take one tablespoon of fresh papaya juice and gently apply on the corn-affected area. Allow it to dry for some hours.
Cataract: Drink plenty of Orange, Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Carrot Juice. Make a concoction of Mint, Tulsi(Basil) leaves and dry coriander by boiling with water-add Amla juice and honey when cooled, add few drops of this concoction in your eyes.
Diarrhoea: Boil powdered Dry ginger with water and drink. Add juice of two lemons to a glass of water, add Asafoetida and dry ginger powder to it and drink. Have plenty of Curd. Eating Apple also helps.
Dandruff: Curd is very popular and effective home remedy for dandruff. Keep a small quantity of curd for fermentation for 2-3 days. Apply this curd to the scalp and hair. Dry it for 1 hour and wash it off. Make a paste of sandalwood oil with triple the amount of lemon juice and to apply it on the scalp. Boil Coconut oil with Neem and Tulsi leaves with powdered camphor. Let it cool and the massage your scalp with the oil. Soak Soap nuts and Fenugreek seeds overnight in water, wash your hair with this water the next day.
Diabetes: Drink plenty of Bitter gourd juice, drink milk with turmeric on empty stomach in morning; one should also eat plenty of Amla (Indian Gooseberry). Eating Cinnamon powder, Fenugreek seed powder and Rose Apple (Jamun) seed powder also helps. Eating raw Garlic, Ginger is also beneficial so also Wheatgrass. Take some mango leaves and soak them in water. Keep it overnight and take this solution in the morning on an empty stomach. Chew 8-10 curry leaves in an empty stomach. Have 3-4 Amla (Indian Gooseberry) with Turmeric powder everyday.
Eczema: Add 1 tsp camphor to 1 teaspoon sandalwood paste and apply on the affected eczema areas. Boil Neem leaves, Tulsi leaves and powdered camphor with coconut oil and apply it on the site when cooled.
Earache: Put few drops of Clove oil or Eucalyptus oil in the ear and plug it with cotton wool. Add 4 drops of Onion juice to warm Virgin Olive oil and put few drops in the ear. Make a paste of Garlic, make it slightly warm (not very hot) and put it in the ear.
Eye inflammation: Make a concoction of Fennel seeds and dry coriander seeds by boiling it with water, add few drops of rose water to it, soak a sterile cotton cloth with the concoction and place it on the eye. Putting few drops of honey in eye also helps. Place used wet Teabags over the eyes. Placing a slice of potato over eyelid also helps.
Flatulence: Chewing common spices available in our kitchen like Fennel Seeds, Caraway Seeds, Aniseeds helps relieve the gas. Boil Dry Ginger, Mint leaves, Fennel seeds, Aniseeds and Asafoetida with water, add lemon juice to it and drink. Drinking Buttermilk seasoned with Curry leaves, Mustard seeds, Asafoetida, Garlic, Aniseeds also provides relief
Gout: Eat 3-4 cloves of raw garlic every day. Eating plenty of strawberry also helps. Eating Cranberries, Cherries, Blue berries also help by reducing uric acid level in blood. Amla (Indian Gooseberry) is also useful due to its mild diuretic effect.
Headache: Almonds, Strawberry contain organic salicylates, hence eating these in generous amounts helps in providing relief. Applying a paste of fresh Mint leaves on forehead also helps. Paste made from powdered Cinnamon and Sandalwood when applied on forehead also gives relief. Mix a cup of Apple cider vinegar with a cup of water, bring it to boil and inhale the steam.
High Cholesterol: Garlic is very effective in cholesterol problems. Eating 2-3 cloves of garlic a day helps to reduce or even completely eliminate the harmful cholesterol in the blood. One can also boil 3-4 cloves in a glassful of milk and drink. Holy basil is also very useful herb for cholesterol. Take bran cereals or corn flakes with milk in breakfast. Olive oil is effective in reducing the high level of cholesterol. Raw onion and juice extracted from it are very effective in reducing high cholesterol level.
Hypertension: Eat plenty of Bananas, Cucumber, Papayas and Potatoes. Eat at least 3-4 cloves of Garlic daily. Eat natural diuretic like Amla (Indian Gooseberry), Parsley water, Watermelon seeds, Barley water also helps. Grind 3-4 teaspoon of Flaxseed and have it daily, also include lot of whole grains, Beans, Onion and Olive oil in your diet.
Jaundice:Add one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of paste made from papaya leaves. Take this regularly for one-two week. Take 10-15 basil leaves (tulsi) and make its paste. Add half glass of freshly made radish juice to it. Take this every day for at least two-three weeks. Barley water is also effective in treating jaundice because of its diuretic property. Patient suffering from jaundice should drink one glass of sugarcane juice 2-3 times a day. It is very beneficial in curing jaundice.
Laryngitis: Add few drops of Honey to Tulsi(Basil) leaves and slowly chew them. Make syrup by boiling Onion with water, add Honey and Lemon juice and gargle this mixture.
Nausea and vomitting: Chewing raw Ginger provides relief immediately. One can also make a concoction by boiling Ginger, lemon with water and drink. Chewing Aniseeds, Cloves can also provide some relief. Add dry Ginger and Lemon juice to soda and drink
Pruritis(itching): Dissolve 1 vitamin C tablet in water and apply it on site of itching. Appling lemon juice, raw onion slice, apple cider vinegar also helps. Add Tulsi (Basil) and Neem leaves to Coconut oil and heat it, allow it to cool and apply it on the site. Applying paste of baking soda and water also provides relief.
Psoriasis: Add garlic cloves to coconut oil and heat, allow it to cool and apply it on site. Applying the gel from Aloe Vera leaves also helps.
Poor immunity: Drink lots of Orange juice (but first get your blood sugar checked), drinking juice of Bitter Gourd, Carrot is also good. Drinking Wheatgrass juice is also very beneficial as it makes your blood alkaline, hence less prone to disease. Eating 3-4 Amla (Indian Gooseberry) daily is very effective in boosting your immunity. Echinacea has also shown to improve immunity. Daily consumption of curd also helps to boost your immunity since it contains probiotics-good bacteria.
Muscle ache: Add fresh grated ginger or dry ginger powder to water, boil the water till it is reduced to half, let it cool down to lukewarm state, dip a clean cloth in it and place it on the site of pain.
Ringworm: Make a paste of Tulsi (Basil) leaves and salt and apply on the site. Applying powder of mustard seeds and paste of raw papaya also helps. Paste made of Neem leaves and Turmeric powder is also effective.
Sore throat: Add salt and turmeric powder to warm water and gargle. Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to warm water and gargle.
Toothache: Mix a pinch of pepper in clove oil. Put this oil directly into the cavity to stop toothache. Take 3-4 drops of mustard oil and a pinch of salt. Massage your tooth jaws, tooth gently with this paste. Place 2-3 seeds of garlic mixed in salt over the cavity or the paining tooth.
Wart: Rub a slice of raw potato on the wart for about 10 minutes every day. This will remove the warts. Apply Camphor regularly on the warts. Apply clove oil gently over the infected area at least twice a day. Crush a clove of garlic and keep this on the wart and fix it in that position with a bandage. Applying Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with lemon juice on the infected part is also very useful.
Yeast infection: Curd is an effective home remedy for yeast infection. Soak a cotton ball in curd and place it in the infected area. Drink 2-3 glass of buttermilk daily. Dilute the Apple Cider Vinegar with water. Add one crushed clove of garlic to it and wash the infected area with this solution. Boil Coconut oil with Neem, Tulsi (Basil) leaves and powdered Camphor. Add Lemon Juice to it when cooled and apply it on the infected part.
