Some Hollywood Marketing Advice?

Oh, I miss those days. Art has taken such a hit! TV has more commercials than ever, and networks don't even grant time for an opening music theme. Remember the theme from The A - Team, Battlestar Galactica, LA Law, Hillstreet Blues, Sea Quest, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, 21Jumpstreet, and Melrose Place. Can you name one original theme from this decade? I can't. There's only a flash of the television series title, which maybe lasts three seconds; then, a commercial airs. It won't be long before the title flashes for a second or not at all.

I don't understand why studios don't make television intros with catchy themes anymore. It seems that the studios are missing out on some great exposure by not doing this old school tactic. For if they allowed people who have Internet webpages post their favorite television intros, the studios' shows would get great exposure. Sounds like a great marketing idea, right? In fact, I bet that if the studios let the public create their own television intros, the studios wouldn't even have to bother creating them themselves. For example, a television intro contest or something like that. Sometimes I wonder what drug is circulating in Hollywood these days. I really wish some Hollywood big shot would steal this idea and put it to use because I deeply miss those classic TV intros and themes.
