Some Information About Traffic Exchange

How Traffic Exchange May Assist Your Small Business Advertising Needs

Traffic Exchanges on the internet are often used my small and individual business owners for generating visitors and potential clients to their websites. But not all of them are helpful in real terms. While there are some doubt about there effectiveness, some realities exist.

These exchanges are usually either operated by auto means manually or both, in terms of their operations with the members and owners. The owners use various computer softwares, servers, templates and other "sophisticated" devices to initiate their online business. They then advertise in search engines, for example, and on each other Exchanges for members.

When membership is accumulated, each person either view another member website by manual or auto surfing, much in the same way someone would use his/her cable remote for surfing channels. But this time the computer "mouse" device is used. So a member page or website is seen or advertised. The greater the number and diversified membership, the better it should be for those who want greater traffic to their websites. Some say it function to the advantage of the smaller advertiser who wants to get his/her site seen in a direct manner to "targeted" people.

Some of the well known traffic exchanges are KayceeHits, HitsUk, QuietHits, SmileyTraffic, BestFreeTraffic, Ilovehits, RoyalSurf, FastFreeWay, eCashTraffic, WolfSurfer, among others. One of the better advantage of using these and others is that a member can join or sign-up for FREE or become a Premium Paid Member who receives extra benefits, extra credits (which is the same as greater advertising time and exposure than free members receive). Another positive about these online advertising business is that you can advertise from 1 to 5 or more websites, depending on if your status is free or paid. Your website is also being seen by real people who sometimes visit your sites and eventually do "business" with you. This is often enhanced and made better if the membership is large and diversified.

If however, all or most of the members are just selling the same or closely the same business products/services as someone who is planning to advertise, then it is possible that not much business will get done for that person, and he/she may think they are wasting time. So some of the exchanges, like KayceeHits and BestFreeTraffic stated above, have different "categories" for the placement of members websites and viewing by potential "trageted" clients. How this works and effectively, is not completely known, but "investigation" is worth the effort.

One of the problems someone may say with these exchanges, is that "automatic hits" or "bots" to someone website may often occur. This is where a real person (surfer or member) does not visit your website, but it is instead hit automatically by clever softwares now available in the 21st century world on online business. Now if this is completely true and occurs often, then if for example, you decide to purchase 10,000 credits to advertise or expose your website to members who are potential clients, "bots" may use-up 5,000 of that amount and you will, in real terms, end-up with only 5,000 exposure credits to real people who will visit your website.

Another problem is that some members may only click on a website access to earn credits, not necessarily to show interest in the advertiser product or business. So a problem of waste may occur. Some sensible individuals and small business owners place a statistical device on their personal website that will help determine the business sense of cost-benefit analysis from using the advertising services of Traffic Exchanges. Some critics see these Exchange owners as just "money-making" people who use their knowledge of functional computer skills and try to earn money online. This is not entirely true, but we have to investigate for ourselves and determine which are "real" or "fraudulent." One of the essential concerns also takes into account the type of website that members are advertising. Gaming and gambling sites are forbidden at some of the exchanges, while others allow these. Also, not all members have website advertising themselves. Some join or become members to surf for "petty cash," check-out the products and business services for real potential business, or just surf for fun. Each individual will have to carefully investigate and determine which is most suitable for them and their purpose.
END.
