Driving in India is one of most deadliest jobs in India. In India, is officially declared that the Indian roads are most dangerous roads in the world to drive.Improper road design and traffic management system is the common reason for driving to be one of the deadliest jobs in India. Under these conditions, the traffic controllers are at more risk of getting into many car accidents on a daily basis, making it one of the leading deadliest jobs in India.
India is also known as country of festivals. Fireworks are essential part of these festivals in India. Many firework industries involve child labor in their factories. The life and health safety issue of the laborers in the factories is of very poor quality. These children are working at another one of the most deadliest jobs in India to try and make a living instead of being educated. In some places, the fireworks raw material (gunpowder) is produced at the home. These people are also very much aware of the fact that what they do for a living is considered extremely dangerous and included in India's deadliest jobs. Deaths due to these deadliest jobs in India are reported almost every month. In a village of Madhya Pradesh, during the Diwali, known as the festival of lights, the villagers of a neighboring village gather on the village boundary with the homemade fireworks. These villagers light the small rocket bombs in their hand and throw them on the opposing villagers. The Indian government cannot do anything about it. This type of tradition is one of the producers of the most deadliest jobs in India.
In Maharashtra, during the famous snake festival, the longest and biggest snake competition takes place. For this competition, a number of groups get together to catch the most venomous snake in India, the Indian cobra. This is another one of the most deadliest jobs in India, which is done every year.
Farming can also be considered one of the most deadliest jobs in India. India is a country of farmers. There are plenty of wild animal attacks on these farmers. Most common attacks known are by tigers, leopards and even elephants in some areas of India. Many farmers go deep in jungle to get herbs and honey, among other substances to earn extra money. The wild animals then attack some of these farmers while they travel into the jungle. India has grown so much that now in some of the metropolitan cities, these wild animals have been seen.
Whether being a driver, farmer, a snake harvester or working with fireworks, the essential functions of these jobs can make them become some of the deadliest jobs in India. These deadly jobs do not even pay the amount of money other countries may pay to have someone perform the same functions, nor do they offer the same safety precautions as other countries. If India could begin to work on the safety hazards that come with these positions, along with education for the employees, it could save more lives and lead to safer jobs in India.

Scary jobs!
Wow, thought the job situation here was bad! They throw lit fireworks at each other!? :)
Very interesting. And scary. Great article.
Very interesting article
scary jobs. I wouldn't have even thought of the farmer's and what they would encounter.
Thanks for this article. I actually went to India for a month. You are right about the road design. While I was in Chennai, I only really felt unsafe for the first day or two. I didn't really see any problems. Though there were also signs around exhorting people to not drink and drive and to not talk on their cell phones while driving. I would imagine that if either of these rules were not followed, or if drivers had not gotten enough sleep (like the auto-rickshaws) then it would get extremely hazardous quickly.
