Ok, now I know that there are some of you out there that might call me a "hater", or something of that nature if you like the L. A. Lakers. They are a good team and all, but as of now, it seems as if they have gotten kind of big-headed. Most people are anticipating for them to win just like in recent years. It is different from when the Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons, and San Antonio Spurs were doing it. I even saw Kobe on the Monique Show say that when you're in his house, if you touch him, it's going be an instant foul. Now is that cocky or what? No team or player has ever acted like this after becoming successful.
Maybe we should pay attention to the referees when Kobe gets the ball. Does he have a few tricks up his sleeve? Or are the referees involved something sneaky? It will be paid close attention to this year.
Another reason someone needs to beat the Lakers is to make Phil Jackson retire. He already will be mentioned forever in history for coaching one of the greatest NBA teams and players ever. There is no reason to do it again. Face the facts, there will never be another Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant is close but he just doesn't give you the feeling and tingle Michael gave us when he shot the basketball or went for the dunk. This is totally and opinionated article, so feel free to leave comments.
