Someday by Justin Bieber, a Flirty Fragrance that is Fun and Playful

Justin Bieber is one of the most widespread success stories in music. Not only is Bieber one of the most popular music artists in the world today, he is well respected. Despite being a great singer and artist, he has recently developed his own fragrance called Someday.

Although Justin Bieber is considered a sex symbol to teenage girls from across the globe, there is one thing that he knows best, what smells good. He created Someday with the intent to make girls smell good. Someday is a collaboration of mandarin, sweet pear, jasmine, vanilla, light musk and berries. It also has a hint of subtle floral, which works well.

When shopping at Sephora in NYC, I had the opportunity to try Someday by Justin Bieber. My first thought was "Wow, this reminds me of Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture in so many ways, but yet it is different too."

PROS

There are many qualities I look for when choosing a perfume. One of those qualities is definitely a perfume that is long-lasting, yet abiding. The key to every great fragrance is staying power. I found that Someday by Justin Bieber lasted modestly long after I sprayed it. When the fragrance begins to fade, it doesn't have a foul smell like other perfumes.

The floral stands out a lot in this fragrance. Although the sweetness of Someday is predominant, the floral balances out the perfume. So, despite being relatively sweet, it is also relatively floral. The musk is rather subtle, which I personally like. When the scent is described as "creamy floral" I can definitely tell you that some of those scents are honeysuckle and amber. The vanilla in Someday is subtle but very evident.

CONS

This fragrance may not be your individual cup of tea. Although the floral and fruit are balanced, this fragrance is really powerful. The marketing concept of this product says that it is a fun, yet fresh and flirty fragrance. It definitely is, but if you are one who prefers something more subtle or more clean smelling, you are not going to appreciate, let alone like Someday by Justin Bieber.

Searching for the perfect perfume doesn't have to be impossible, but if you are looking to buy a perfume that you haven't smelled yet, the key is knowing what you like before you buy it. I am going to be honest that Someday by Justin Bieber doesn't have smells that cater to a mature demographic or at least the vast majority of status quo society in that particular demographic. If you are searching for a fragrance that is a little more woodsy, as opposed to fruity and floral, you are not going to enjoy Someday. Keep in mind that another one's garbage is another one's treasure, as another one's treasure is another one's garbage. Apples and Oranges.

Someday by Justin Bieber can be purchased at your nearest Sephora for $35 (1 oz.) or $45 (1.4 oz.). It is also available in rollerball form for $18. Would I recommend this perfume to a friend? Absolutely. Would I use this perfume again? Yes. Overall, I was impressed with Someday by Justin Bieber. After all, who wouldn't be? This fragrance is enjoyable, bouncy and flirty. What can be better than that?
