Somewhere in the world tonight;
A child is cowering in their bedroom;
A runaway is walking the streets;
A single mom struggles alone;
An alcoholic has hit bottom;
A drug deal has gone wrong;
A child dies in a drive-by shooting;
A thief robs a convenience store;
A young girl is violated;
An elderly person is forgotten;
A homeless person is shunned;
Chaos has run amok;
Another identity is stolen;
Corporate greed runs rampant;
Government is corrupt;
Unjust wars break out;
The sick can't afford medicine;
The rich are getting richer;
The poor are getting poorer;
It is a dog eat dog world;
Every man for himself;
Desperately holding on;
To pride and prejudice;
To temporary things;
Faith is tested;
Despair paints in black;
God is crying;
For His lost children;
Why aren't there more of us;
Down on our knees;
In fervent prayer;
Rolling up our sleeves;
To make the world better;
When the judgment comes;
How will we stand?
A child is cowering in their bedroom;
A runaway is walking the streets;
A single mom struggles alone;
An alcoholic has hit bottom;
A drug deal has gone wrong;

Oh, Sister Sister, you are so right your words are so true, even with so many sleeves rolled up, there should be more! So many times we let God down with our actions and words, but he never lets us down with his! Thank you for this reminder that Christianity is DOING....not BEING!+*+*+*PEACE
