From each tight grip
And every love will ever pale
In contrast to this eventful trip.
So, as you grow I watch and learn
And you become something that I am not.
For all you've given me, I'll never discern
You'll never know what all you've brought.
Hope and love and laughter and tears,
you are the everything in my life.
For each second that you've brought on tears,
For each second that you've brought on strife,
It all melts away into this moment of bliss,
You lean over and give your mama a kiss.
