Son of Rambow (2007) 4 Word Movie Review

Son of Rambow(2007) is a story set in early 80s England where two boys from very different backgrounds make a film together inspired by First Blood(1982). I would also highly suggest the Son of Rambow Drinking Game.

-First: As in First Blood which changed two boys lives forever. This film also reminds me of my first film. Do you remember the first movie you ever saw? Will Proundfoot's was First Blood and I think that's a fantastic start. It transformed his imagination and gave it shape. Most importantly it reminds us that films are important.
-Delightful: The movie sucks you and and is charming. If this were a first date I'd marry Son of Rambow.
-Sincere: It's a no frills look at school and the 80s. Each subject is approached honestly and the movie is better because of it.
-Victory: John Rambo can defeat anyone or anything even Jesus. Heh, now you have to watch it just to figure out what that means.

Awesomeness Rating: 10/10 for being such an original and special film. I've never seen a movie like it before. I was never able to guess what was going to happen. It's a story about finding yourself and the power of ideas.
