Song of the Cosmos

Where can tranquility be but in silent spaces
Stars with no planets have only fire, no cooling peace
The haunting call of cosmic spirits
Portals into another universe
Creating new life into a myriad words
Radiating a new breath
Starlight reflected in the crystals
That dominate these spheres
Holding the genes of wonderful minds
Each dancing to its own tune
Gathering all the minute notes
Enmeshing it with a play of eternal light
They perform in a stage with universal applause
What a web the Creator weaves
Everything from a single seed
Immortality his bestowed gift
Expecting nothing in lieu
When will ye awake, laggards?
Love has no scales, it leaves Math agape
It teeters on a fine balance
Between compassionate hearts and just souls
Darkness is the canvas for brilliant jewels
Exhaling observers' illusions with finality
Patterns in a parched sky Will they be unveiled?
Flowing with words of grace
Tearing out their hearts
Screaming with an intense stew of ecstacy and sorrow
A universe in the head ... the piper has his revenge ;)
