Song of the Day (Show Some Respect)

Zenovia B.
I have written a book entitled "I Refuse To Be Lonely." The book is full of essays and poems for women to learn to love themselves before loving someone else. It helps women to identify the situation before it happens completely if you are involved with a man who abuses his mate or if you are involved with a man who likes to be with men on the down low and with women because of him being in denial of his sexuality.

This morning I woke up very sad and very depressed and I did not want to get up out of the bed because my book is not doing what I would like. I know that I can't give up, because nothing happens overnight, but it seems as if nothing is happening period. But I am not going to give up, because positive thinking is all through my poems, quotes and essays.

So here is my way of asking for your help with my book, purchase one. If you know a person with low self esteem, has a eating disorder, on drugs or who is thinking of giving up on life, purchase one my book and give it to them as a gift. It is very positive and yes I am begging and pleading and plugging my book, "I Refuse To Be Lonely" that is at http://www.lulu.com/content/429413, help a sister out. Everyone needed helping in getting started on a project, I need yours.

Tina Turner sings about helping someone out with her song: Show Some Respect, and NO she is not plugging my book, I just like the words of these songs for the SONG OF THE DAY.

I made a resolution
and a plan to do my work
but i need you to make it work
you've got to read the message
cause not to see would be a crime
and we could loose it anytime

(chorus)
we've got to show some respect
we've got to learn to protect
don't take it for granted I know
That if you want to stay close
we've got to show some respect

but I believe in working
then I believe in a little help
cause I'm not light unto myself
without a thing of value
why settle for second best
we don't know what's up ahead
we can't let ourselves forget

for the little things I love about you
for the woman that you see inside
don't let it walk out the door
love follows every time

(chorus)
we've got to show some respect
we've got to learn to protect
don't take it for granted I know
that if you want to stay close
we've got to show some respect
