Song of Springtime

National Poetry Month Daily Challenge: Rhyming Poem of Springtime

Khara E. House
The bees, in the springtime, they buzz, buzz, buzz
And oh, what a glorious sound it was
To hear them, and see them, all black and gold
In springtime, a beautiful sight behold

The birds, in the springtime, they sing, sing, sing
And oh, what a wonder when their songs ring
To hear them and see them, red, blue, and brown
In springtime they're flying high from the ground

The flowers, in springtime, they grow, grow, grow
And oh, what a pleasure to see them go
To hear them and see them all climbing high
In springtime their petals rush toward the sky

The children, in springtime, they play, play, play
And oh, how their laughter brightens the day
To hear them, and see them, their voices bring
The glorious, glorious sound of spring
