K. Anderson
Carrie Underwood is one of the top musical artists today. With songs that touch the heart, this former American Idol winner has millions of fans. Here is a review of 2 songs off her newest album, Play On, that each deal with falling in love with someone that may not love you back.

1. Unapologize- The lyrics to Carrie Underwood's song Unapologize perfectly describe the feeling you get when you fall for someone and you can't help but tell them even if it may not be the right time to say anything. You get caught up in the moment and you want so badly to tell them how you feel that you just do it right then and there. Sometimes you may get the same reaction back, or at other times you may feel rejection, but as the Unapologize lyrics say, it doesn't matter because you said how you felt. This song from Carrie Underwood's "Play On" album is great for anyone who just met somebody that they love or want to love. The point is that you shouldn't be sorry, and you shouldn't have to apologize for telling someone how you really feel. In this song, the person says how they feel and then they tell a little lie to say they were sorry and act like they didn't mean it, just because they feel awkward or bad saying it. However then they realize that it was worth it to say it because they meant it, and they Unapologize.

2. Someday When I Stop Loving You- The lyrics to Carrie Underwood's song Someday When I Stop Loving You describe exactly what the title depicts. They talk about loving someone with all of your heart and not being able to let go of them even though they have moved on. This Carrie Underwood song is one that will break your heart because you can feel the pain that a person is going through when they love someone with everything that they have but don't get that in return. On the other hand, the Someday When I Stop Loving You lyrics can put a smile on someone's face because they are in love and are happy to know that they can feel that way about another person. It's somewhat of a contradiction, because sometimes even if you can't be with someone, you are still happy knowing that you can love them from a distance, and feel a deep connection for them. I have been in love with a wonderful man for over 5 years, and I know that even if we weren't together, I would not be able to stop loving him. These Carrie Underwood lyrics describe the way you just push on through life because you have to, but you can't ever really stop loving someone that you gave your whole heart to.
