Songs Played at My Wedding

Lora
This article is about good wedding songs to play at weddings. At my wedding last September 22nd, I had a variety of music.

The songs you must be careful picking out are the songs for the father-daughter dance, the bride and grooms first dance as husband and wife, the bridal party dance, the mother-daughter dance, and the bride and father in law dance.

At my wedding I never had a father-daughter dance I had a grandfather and granddaughter dance because my grandfather and grandmother raised me so I thought it was only fair to have a grandfather and granddaughter dance instead of a father-daughter dance because my dad was never in my life to share that.

The song I picked out for the grandfather and granddaughter dance was "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle. It is a very good song for whoever gives away the bride at the ceremony, which in my case was my grandfather. It talks about a little girl growing up with her daddy and then finally leading up to her wedding day to where her daddy has to give her away. It is a very good song for the father daughter dance. I would not recommend any other song. It is a very big tear jerker as well.

For my bride and groom song I picked out was "It's your love" by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. This is a very good song for the bride and groom to dance their first dance as husband and wife.

The Bridal party song I picked out was "I hope you dance" by Leann Womack, which is a good song for all the Bridal party to dance to.

The song I picked out for the Mother Daughter dance was "In my Daughter Eyes" by Martina McBride. This is a very good song for the mother-daughter dance. It tells how in her daughters eyes her mother was her hero. It tells how she sees in her daughters eyes how she wants her daughter to be and what she will be.

Finally the song I picked out or the bride and father in law dance was "Because you Loved me" by Celine Dion. Very good song if your father in law has been there through your toughest times in your life which mine has been.

So there you go. Some of the songs I think are the best songs for the major wedding songs. There are other songs out there besides the ones I had at my wedding so look around these are only suggestions.

Beautiful songs you chose to play on your wedding day, thankfully for me I shouldn't and now almost for sure will not see another one any time soon! Wonderful choices again, especially for the slow romantic, I am not a big country fan, but can say I like the songs you did pick
