Songza.Com: The Best Place to Find Free Online Music

DiamondJewelSpiritHeaven
Songza.Com is this great new site I found. I'm not sure if it's going to stay as it is. I really wish it would; but as with many things on the internet; good things can change gradually as they call the version or site you fell in love with the beta version and the features that you loved become locked because you have to purchase an unlimited membership or other such thing.

Songza is a website that acts as an online jukebox. It really has an incredible amount of music on it. I was able to find 97% of the music I searched for. I got a little greedy searching for Dave Attel's Insomniac theme but actually found some YouTube like amateur guitar practice recordings of it but not the original. Being a musician and an extreme music lover I gave Songza a run for it's money. My musical tastes range in everything from Archer's of Loaf to Henry Manicini; WuTang Clan and Mobb Deep to Bjork, Oakenfold, Sister Nancy and The Pointer Sisters. Songza allows you to create your own personal jukebox under your free membership. Account creation is extremely quick and easy and requires an email address be given.

The site moves fluidly and quickly considering all the content it must have on it. My computer can freeze or get a little slow with content heavy sites.

Not only is Songza a jukebox; but some of the music you download is attached to a little player on the right that plays the official music video while you're listening to the song. What could be better? Really? The website is clean and very simple. It is easy to use for anyone I feel and it will bring out the music lover in everyone. I found music from all of the artists I listed above in abundance and I'm working on my list for when I go in for another session of song choosing. You can't download the music from your jukebox; you can only share it with a friend and some other things like Twitter it and embed it into your webpage. But a music selection of your dreams playing whenever you want from your computer is wonderful enough for me.

Now, I'm unsure how or if this site is going to change in the future. Hopefully; they will only add a couple of tasteful advertisement banners around and not interrupt your jukebox playing with tacky loud commercials etc. I'm hope and I'm sure they can find a way to make money with the site without compromising the integrity it naturally has right now.
