Sunlight shimmers on foam capped waves of blue;
Seagulls fly on a salty ocean breeze.
Always consumed in the presence of you,
I feel myself thaw from winter's harsh freeze.
Seagulls fly on a salty ocean breeze.
Always consumed in the presence of you,
I feel myself thaw from winter's harsh freeze.
We run and frolic like children at play,
Splashing in frothy waves, sun beaming down;
Our castle of sand may soon wash away,
But for now we enjoy without a frown.
Waves kiss our ankles as you kiss me soft;
Oh, I have never felt this way before!
My heart is soaring into clouds aloft;
You are all that I want and so much more.
Yes, our day at the shore was perfect bliss;
Forever I could stay, lost in your kiss
