Sonny 2: Pros and Cons of the Strategy Game's Biological Class

A Biological Guide

Theresa
As some of you may know, Sonny 2 is a turn-based strategy game. Players choose their class at the beginning of the game - their options being the psychological class, the biological class and the hydraulic class. I'll go over each one individually, noting the different paths available to each. Of course, I'll start with the biological class, since it is the easiest and most straightforward of classes.

The Biologicals are very simple to play. Their attacks are based mostly on Strength, so they use very little Instinct. It would be best to not improve Instinct, and instead focus on raising Strength and Vitality. Speed is usually useful, but only if you improve it a lot. These points could instead be used to improve your maximum health or damage. Really, as long as you ignore Instinct and keep your Vitality over 5 points per level, you should just improve your Strength.

On to Abilities. Biologicals have two good paths: the Savage path and the Acidic path. If you look at the abilities page, you can easily see why I named them this way. The ones on the right, the Savage abilities, focus on a lot of instant damage, as well as modifiers to the enemy's stats. For instance, they have Immobilize, which not only attacks the enemy for a large amount of damage but also lowers the enemy's speed. Break is very useful, as it causes the opponent to be stunned for one round. Finally, Vicious Strike is great, because it lets you get health back even once you attack.

The Acidic path is more focused on Damage-Over-Time abilities. These include Envenom, Infect, and Anesthetic. These can be augmented using the Passive ability Acidic Blood, which increases your poison piercing enough to cause so much damage that most enemies wll be killed in a couple turns. Of course, they can cause extra damage using Corrosion, which lowers the enemy's poison resistance.

Abilities that are useful to get for both are Evolution, Endurance, and Subversion. Evolution passively increases all four of your primary skills up to 8%. Endurance increases your life by up to 8%. Subversion is especially useful against Baron Brixius's Tick Tock ability. All you have to do is set your allies to Relentless mode and cast it on the character with Tick Tock. This will stop one of the Baron's Tick Tock moves, and if it is cast on the weakest person, the Baron himself will heal the character with his attacks. The easiest way to beat the Baron in this mode is to get disrupt and max it out. This will destroy his focus, which he will then destroy a lot of health (around 15,000) to get it back. If you continue doing it, you will barely have to hit him.
