Sons of Anarchy: Season 2: Episode 1: "Albification" Recap
A New Threat Rolls into Charming & Tara Demands the Truth in Sons of Anarchy Season 2, Episode 1
Sons of Anarchy, Season 2, Episode 1: Gun Testing
Sons of Anarchy, season 2, episode 1opens with the club testing out some new guns from their IRA funding connection. It may seem like good fun, as they mess with Half-Sack, but tension is evident. There is a heavy moment of prolonged eye contact between Jax and Clay, even though Clay supports Jax's negotiations.
Tara is still a regular in Jax's life. Gemma is still taking care of Jax's crack baby. Yes, baby boy Abel's momma is a junkie. Opie still doesn't know who shot his wife in the head.
Sons of Anarchy, Season 2, Episode 1: Albification
Albification is the process of making white. So to hold true to Sons of Anarchy, season 2, episode 1's theme, a high-powered pair of white supremacists roll into town to open a tobacco shop. The white power duo, Zobelle and Westin (played by Adam Arkin and Henry Rollins), were invited to Charming by Officer Hale's brother.
The two visit the Sons of Anarchy's clubhouse, as they take exception to SAMCRO dealing with black and Latino bikers (the Niners and Mayans). Clay tells the white power trippers to, "climb back into their little clown car and drive back to Nazi town." But Zobelle and Westin have little scruples and play dark and dirty. Wearing Mike Meyer's masks, they kidnap and rape Gemma, showing they are a definite threat.
Sons of Anarchy, Season 2, Episode 1: Opie
Jax works at keeping Opie from knowing who killed his wife, Donna. Meanwhile, Jax and Clay think of a solution. Opie is led to believe that a Mayan is responsible for his wife's death. They murder the Mayan and Jax tries to cover up the killing, so it won't be blamed on the Sons of Anarchy. Who knows when Opie will discover the truth that could tear the club apart? The Sons of Anarchy are under enough stress as it is.
Sons of Anarchy, Season 2, Episode 1: Tara
Another storyline going on in Sons of Anarchy, season 2, episode 1, is Jax and Tara's relationship. Gemma encourage Tara to question Jax about what he does. Tara finally finds proof of Jax's misdeeds, but he only tells half-truths. He does go as far as telling her that he helped Opie kill the man who killed Donna.
Sons of Anarchy, Season 2, Episode 1: Next Episode
The next episode of Sons of Anarchy is titled "Small Tears." Gemma is unable to tell Jax and Clay about her traumatic event. Tom Arnold shows up as a porn producer, threatening to ruin Luanne's business. Clay questions Jax's decisions.
