Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: "Fix" Recap

Sons of Anarchy, season 2, episode 3's title "Fix" is an appropriate term for the episode. The members of SAMCRO and their loved ones struggle to find solutions to their many problems. Of course they do this in true Sons of Anarchy style, with a gritty mix of violence, creativity and rock'n'roll explosives.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: Temporary Problem
White supremacist Zobelle visits Deputy Chief Hale, with a proposition. The Sons of Anarchy do not allow drug dealers in Charming, a fact that has a lot of townspeople idolizing the biker club. Zobelle thinks that they should bring drugs into town, to bring down SAMCRO's image. He calls it a "temporary problem that allows them to flush out the permanent one."

Deputy Chief Hale takes some time to think about it. Little does he know, but the drug cooking and dealing has already started. The Sons of Anarchy almost immediately get wind of it. With some violent persuasion and a little detective work, SAMCRO discovers who is behind the drugs and where it is being cooked.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: Temporary Solution
The Sons of Anarchy decide to give the law a chance to solve this problem, while testing Deputy Chief Hale's loyalties. SAMCRO tips Hale off to the location of the meth lab, while Clay lets the chief of police in on the plan. Hale goes to the house and sees signs of a meth lab and talks to a known meth cook. The cook hands him a coupon to Zobelle's cigar shop, thus letting the officer know that his meth was part of the plan.

Hale is angry, given the evidence that the white supremacists were already dealing drugs in Charming. He goes to confront Zobelle, who gives him an impassioned speech on the downfall of the country and how they had a common goal, to bring down the Sons of Anarchy. Deputy Chief Hale calls Jax and tells him the tip was bogus.

Given this proof that Hale is on Zobelle's side, the Sons of Anarchy decide to go to Plan B. Apparently SAMCRO really doesn't take kindly to people going against their orders. So under the cover of darkness, the Sons of Anarchy blow the meth house up.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: Gemma & Clay
Gemma is starting to recover physically from her rape, but three weeks isn't near enough time to heal psychological wounds. This starts trouble in her relationship with Clay, who still thinks she was just in a car wreck. The chief of police tries to get Gemma to join a survivors group, in the church basement of another town. Gemma won't have any part of it.

Gemma and Clay's tense relationship finally comes to a head at the Sons of Anarchy and Luanne's porn studio. Clay smashes the window of her SUV and starts punching the vehicle, after she kicks his motorcycle. Gemma gets in his face and dares him to hit her. Clay grabs her from behind, which causes Gemma to freak out. Jax and Tara quickly intervene, to deescalate the situation.

The couple semi makes up at the impound yard, but when Clay wants to spend the night, Gemma tells him to go to the porn film wrap party. It is obvious that Gemma knows she is pushing Clay away. Another scene shows her holding a bible, possibly considering joining the victims group. It may be too late to save her relationship, though. At the Sons of Anarchy porn wrap party, Clay is shown with an actress giving him oral pleasure.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: Bobby Joins the Porn Set
Signing at bar mitzvahs is not bringing in enough money for Bobby to pay his child support. He relays his troubles to Clay and the Sons of Anarchy leader offers him a job keeping books at the porn studio. Luanne throws a fit about this, but Bobby gets right to work.

Jax is mad that Clay offered Bobby the job without going through him. The partnership between the Sons of Anarchy and Luanne was his idea and he doesn't think Clay should be making any decisions. Clay takes him to task for always being concerned about himself and not SAMCRO members.

Bobby discovers that Luanne has been cooking her books and stealing from the Sons of Anarchy for six years. She convinces him not to tell, by using her 'talents'.

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 Episode 3: Tara Annoyed By Porn Starlets
Tara is starting to become annoyed with Jax and the Sons of Anarchy's business with Luanne. One of the actresses has fixated on Jax and proceeds to rub all over him. She even goes as far as to insist he be her bodyguard.

Tara sees the woman kiss Jax, as he drops her off. Gemma asks her if she is okay with it and Tara says she trusts Jax. Gemma quickly lets her know that Jax isn't the problem. Tara hasn't staked her claim on Jax, so the actresses think he is available. Tara says she is too old for cat fights.

Tara quickly changes her mind, when she tries to get into the Sons of Anarchy and Luanne's wrap party, to see Jax. The actress and the rest of the 'talent' let her know that she is not welcome and Jax is taken care of. Jax spots Tara in time to see her run to the bathroom and follows her in. Tara shoves him and they proceed to have sex on the sink. The starlet walks in and Tara gives her a victorious smile.

Previews for the next episode of the Sons of Anarchy indicate that Gemma runs into one of her rapists. She sees him on the street and recognizes the tattoo on his neck.
