The Sony MP3 has a 1.8" LCD viewing screen which is crystal clear. The player supports several different formats some of these formats are: MP3, WMA, MPEG4, and JPEG. The product itself can hold up to over a thousand songs, hundred of pictures and hours and hours of video. I personally will never have a thousand songs on my play list but that's just me so this provides way more than enough space for my music collection.
The video player is great. I love being able to find a few videos that I want to share and put them on my MP3 player. You can put any type of video you want to on it, as long as the video is in MP4 format. You can upload full movies to this MP3 player and let the kids watch them on road trips or whenever. The screen clarity is great and makes watching videos and movies on a small screen not so bad.
Having pictures on my player is great because I can carry way more pictures of family and friends on my player than I can in my wallet so the next time I run into someone I have not seen in a while I can show them hundreds of pictures instead of just a few. The radio is the only downfall. Don't get me wrong I love the radio except for the reception. The reception is a little weak and makes listening to some stations hard because of the static. One great thing with the radio is that you have thirty presets to use. Having the thirty presets allows me to save my favorite stations and not have to search for them every time I want to listen to something different. It's like flipping channels on the television only it's with the radio.
Some of the other wonderful things about this item are that you charge it with the same cord you use to upload music with. That's right the USB cord charges the player so it eliminates the need for batteries. The headphones that come with it are some decent quality headphones that put out good sound.
The Sony 2GB MP3 player has won me over. With a price tag ranging from 80 to 100 dollars depending on where you buy it at, this is way more than what you pay for. I do recommend this to anyone and everyone. I have had it for about 4 months now and have had not one problem ever.
