Sony Ericsson has been releasing smart phones under their P Series models. The Sony Ericsson P1i is the latest addition to the company's smart phone line. The P1i has the best attributes of the previous P Series models as well as new design and improved speed and performance.

The Sony Ericsson P1i works on GSM 900, 1800, 1900 networks and UMTS 2100. The P1i is 25% smaller than the P990, has 262,144 color touch screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, 3.2 mega pixel camera with 3x digital zoom, auto focus, photo light and video recording, Bluetooth that supports A2DP, Media Player, 160 MB of internal memory expandable by Memory Stick Micro, Infrared, WLAN, and USB connectivity.

The Sony Ericsson P1i is truly a feature rich smart phone. Users can connect to the internet either through the P1i's built-in Wireless LAN or through high speed UMTS connection.
