Sony Ericsson's Xperia PLAY (aka the "PlayStation Phone") is now just $99.99 with a new two year contract from Verizon Wireless. You'll also need both a talk plan (starting at $39.99 a month) and data plan ($29.99 unlimited data a month).
The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY features Android 2.3 and comes pre-loaded with seven games: Madden NFL 11 (EA Sports), Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior (Digital Legends), Asphalt 6: Adrenaline (Gameloft), The Sims 3 (EA), Star Battalion (Gameloft), Crash Bandicoot (Sony PlayStation) and Tetris.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY launched with over 60 Games to download. 20 publishers, in addition to companies such as Unity and Havok, will ensure a steady flow of new innovative games going forward on the Xperia PLAY.
There are slated to be more than 100 games optimized for Xperia PLAY available for download via the V CAST Apps and Android Market by the end of the year
Other highlights to the Xperia PLAY include a 4 inch multi-touch display, 5 megapixel camera, integrated Facebook, support for Google Mobiles Services, and Adobe Flash Player. Additionally you can also make the Xperia PLAY into a Mobile Hotspot and connect up to five WiFi devices. Check out the full details of the Xperia Play.
