If you want to dress up as Sookie this Halloween but want to do something different, then opt for her bad girl look. This article will serve as your guide to put together the smokin' costume.
What you'll need:
Lace up patterned halter top (if you can't find one close to Sookie's , you can improvise and use the one here , here or here. Just be sure to pin up the bottoms so your stomach will show )
Black bob wig (such as the one here)
Black leather pants (faux leather OK)
Black lace fingerless gloves that go up to wrist (like the ones here)
Black dangly feather earnings (they don't have to be exact, just black and dangly like the pair here)
Fake tattoos (unless you've got real ones, example here)
Smoky eye shadow
Red lipstick
Black heels or boots
Putting it together:
Putting your bad girl Sookie outfit together is relatively easy. For your makeup, you'll want to watch episode four of season three again to get it right so use your smoky eye shadow and red lipstick and get to work. After your make up is applied, it's time for your temporary tattoos.
Place one large temporary tattoo onto your upper back. Another one needs to go by your stomach/hip area so that part of it pokes up over your waist band. Next place a tattoo on each shoulder.
After your tattoos have dried, get dressed. Put on your halter top, pinning it up if it doesn't show your stomach. Now put on your hands and shoes.
The next step is to put on your wig. You'll want to work with it a bit, making sure that all your real hair is inside the wig and not poking out at the sides. After it's fitted how you want it, put the earrings in.
Look in the mirror and pat yourself on the back because you've successfully become bad girl Sookie.
During the night, try to look tough and pained at the same time. You're in desperate search of your first love who tried to dump you but you don't want your cover to be blown.
