Soon, You Can Drive Your V8 Engine Again

As gas prices have soared, the American way of life has suffered. We have consolidated our trips to town to the tune of a 12-hour day just to save on fuel. Relief it seems may be on the horizon. Not from new politicians who make great promises and never follow through nor from the mega corporations who spend millions on research and yet never seem to come up with any answers.

Salvation, as it were, instead may be found the good old fashioned American way, a man in his garage tinkering around. It was reported about two years ago on Kait8 out of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that a man claimed to have invented a device that could potentially result in gas mileage as high as 100 miles per gallon. You might wonder why, if such a device were possible, the more technological members of our nation had not already developed and marketed it.

Well, the answers are not readily available outside the realm of conspiracies and, as such, will never be truly known.

Suffice it to say that sometimes the best answer was the simplest. We looked to our government to regulate fuel prices and looked to the researchers to find an alternative fuel source, but we never looked in our own ingenuity for a better way to use what we already have. What difference does it make if gasoline reaches $8 a gallon if that one gallon will now take us as far as 10 gallons did?

The answer is it will make no difference whatsoever. Now, in a breakthrough in a little-known town, we have the answer. It is a gas-saving device that works on the simple premise that we don't actually have to burn the gas for our car to run. Now before you call the wagons, allow me to explain. All you need basically in an internal combustion engine is an explosion, and that ignition can occur on just the fumes! How ingenious is that? The device simply makes the fuel an aerosol-type substance and therefore increases fuel economy exponentially.

The device has been in development for nearly two years but we may yet be a step or two from mass production. The common problem will lye with the number of different fuel systems that will need to be modified and some of these vehicles are regulated by intricate computer systems.

These elaborate systems actually adjust the running of your vehicle according to fuel pressure from the tank. So the tedium will rest in keeping the pressure readings correct while instituting the new technology. There will soon be a website that will allow you to check your make and model for compatibility.

I read something recently about technology very similar to this. Great research! Would love to have a mid 70's Duster or Charger, not wih gas like this for sure.

I haven't heard about this new technology. I've heard of other ways such as using water mixed with gasoline to double mileage. Hope that the free market allows this to be explored.

    Ingenious indeed! Great article :)
