Sorority Life Costume Party and Accessory Sale at the Mall Cheats

Alicia White
In MySpace's version of Sorority Life, certain glam accessories like the Estee Lauder Jeweled Compact, Chanel No. 5 Perfume, and the Deco formal dress, are hard to get unless you know exactly how many points you need to reach, or items you need to stop at. While playing Sorority Life's new social events, "Sorority Costume Party" and, "Accessory Sale at the Mall," referring to the following guide will help make your accessory collection complete. I enjoy collecting as many accessories as possible, so I spent a lot of time figuring out what it takes to collect which items in order to help others.

Sorority Costume Party:

The Sorority Costume Party can be a bit tricky, because some of the items on the checklist are hard to see because of all the clutter. In this case, practice makes perfect, especially because every once in a while, the app developers throw new items into the mix. The following list is only good on the MySpace version of Sorority Life.

Zero to three items will get you nothing of importance, except a little money. Four to five items only rewards you with a formal dress that you could buy on your own anyway. Six to seven items give you a set a Sport Sunglasses - still pretty worthless, but you can't buy them. Eight to nine items rewards you with an Evening Blouse set. It's pretty ugly, but you can't buy it.

Ten items, depending how much time is left on the clock, will get you certain rewards:

If you get ten items in the first fifteen seconds or less, you will get the pretty Elsa Peretti Sapphire Bracelet. If you click on all ten items between sixteen and forty-five seconds, you will be rewarded with a Party Pack, which is something you can buy on your own. Ten items between forty-six seconds in, and thirty-one seconds left on the timer will get you a pair of Seychelles Lou Boots, which you can't buy on your own. Lastly, if you wait and click on the tenth item when there's thirty or fewer seconds on the clock, you will get the cute Deco Formal dress, which is an outfit you can't purchase in the glam shop.

Accessory Sale at the Mall:

The Accessory Sale at the Mall is kind of a pain because it is a time burglar and your energy to influence point ratio is lower, but it can reward you with some accessories and outfits that can't be purchased.

In this game, it's all about the points earned. If you get less than 990 points, you only get a couple hundred dollars. Between 1000 and 1190 points, you get the cute Estee Lauder Jeweled Compact, which you can't buy in the glam shop. Between 1200 and 1390 points, you only get that cheap $700 necklace, which is pretty worthless and can be purchased in the shop. Between 1400 and 1590 points, you only get a cell phone, which can also be bought in the accessory shop. Between 1600 and 1790, you get a bottle of Chanel No. 5 Parfum, which can't be purchased. Between 1800 and 1900 points, you get an iPod, which you can purchase on your own. Lastly, if you get 2000 or more points, you win the Prada Calfskin Satchel, which has a popularity score of 4, and can't be purchased in the shop.

As you can see, it's important to pay attention to your points in the Accessory Sale at the Mall game, as well as the items and timer on the Sorority Costume Party game, or you might wind up with items that make the game a waste of time, unless you are totally broke. One good thing about all of the won items, is that none of the items have any upkeep cost, so they won't take away from your income.

Do the event for 2 brownie points and one sister. That's the only place that I know of to get hair and outfits that are sold out. I got the brown curly hair and the picnic dress (twice) from there. As for the brownie points, they took the free offers out a long time ago. So the only way to get them besides buying them with real cash is your credit/debit card, is to earn them slowly throughout the game. They should be coming out with the Playdom cards you should be able to get at WalMart and other retail locations soon. :)

All I want to know is, is there a hint in getting alot of Brownie points for free, or converting the cash into brownie points. I have over 56 million dollars. If it were real, I wouldn't be complaining. But since it's not HELP!

Thanks for the tips here! I was going nuts trying to get the iPod because I kept getting high scores--I didn't realize it was considered one of the lower-score items.
