Soul Mates and Twin Flames: Two Separate Entities and the Rejoining of One

J Gorman
At a chat forum created to discuss Michel Desmarquet's book entitled The Thiaoouba Prophecy, a member shared the following theory:

When the human soul is in its highest, most evolved form, it is both male and female. But what about before that? It's only one gender or the other. I was thinking, perhaps at the VERY beginning, before ANY lifetimes, when a soul is created, it is both male and female. Then, in order to learn quicker as it grows, it is divided into seperate genders, and each one lives out their lives seperately, growing and evolving. Each "half" has enough of the soul to function as a seperate entity. When all the learning is complete, and it is time to move on to Thiaoouba or another level 9 planet, both halves of the completed soul "rejoin" into their true form.

If both halves meet in life, I would imagine that they would know there is some kind of connection between them....

[T]wo people in a couple need to have a spiritual affinity. I would guess that every "person" in the world has their own unique energy signature. But if what I'm saying is true, then this other half of the soul has the exact same signature, being the ONLY possible combination for you with a TRUE spiritual affinity.

Having visited the forum specifically to ponder the idea of soul mates (as I have been greatly struggling with the concept after reading the book and noticing no mention of "lovers" or even relationships on [the planet] Thiaoouba), the above theory prompted me to think deeply about the concept.

The beauty of the entire thread, which is quite long, is precisely our "Freedom of Choice." {Author's Note: I use the form our here to include every individual [with their own individual intellect], as described in a book of the quoted name, written by Dr. Tom Chalko.}

Upon reading the above quoted post, I immediately identified the theory as highly possible, more likely probable, at least for me.

As I continued reading, it became quite apparent that everyone has his or her own "theory," as it should (and was designed to) be. This is not to say, however, that the others are wrong. As reported, we choose when to take physical form; we can choose to do [or to refrain from doing] anything. "This" is all a garden in which we are able to play indefinitely, should we desire to do so.

Love is the common theme: "Love and be loved," "All you need is love," "Love makes the world go around."

Think about it: some people have no desire to find a mate while others move from one to another in search of something they cannot describe but which they know is essential to the completion of their being. For some it could simply be themselves. For those who are already in contact with the Self, it must be something higher. Dr. Chalko discusses the notion of Higher Feelings, and while it is necessary at some point in an individual's evolution to discover and further develop these, only once we experience our own can we then remember them.

It makes sense to follow the ideals we had as children [before society overtook our spirituality], when the majority of us were most in tune with our Selves (at least until we opened up "this time around"). I, personally, have always been on the look-out for "the rest of me." And recently, I have come so very close to attaining the missing piece of my puzzle. Because of this, I fully understand the idea of a "soul signature" and have experienced what I would now consider "TRUE spiritual affinity."

With each lifetime, we get further along in our spiritual "rejoining," if we decide to take a lifetime to learn this: to play on this planet with the sole intention of proving that we are able to complete ourselves. This is precisely one of the many lessons in the curriculum of our schooling on Earth.

    I also agree we are whole when created, but I believe our society has created an environment where we must choose one part with which to identify.

    I think it is interesting to think about the poetry and beauty behind man and woman and whether or not we are a part of a greater whole. It may help us define those immediate connections with others. But, I would argue that we are created male or female in completion. No need for the other. Only because man should not be lonely are we drawn together.
