Can not seem to escape
What's holding deep inside
Of the dreams
Yet to be fulfilled
Tears clean the soul
I've heard
If you cry them to the Lord
He will wash your tears
Down the drain
Along with all your fears
Reflection
Tears do weigh us down when life seems to have taken our dreams away. The one beyond all else is the Lord our God. Tears do clean the soul, if you can release them to him. Then, you will have washed those fears down the drain once and for all. Is it time for a spiritual cleaning? Bathing away fears can be very cleansing.
