Check out a couple noteworthy tweets where Fabolous opted to "dis" Soulja Boy:
"#ParisHiltonsCokeHabit ain't got sh*t on #SouljasCokeHabit..."
"Let me find out, #SouljasCokeHabit got him Amy Wine'd out.. Got em hooked like he threw a fishing line out.."
Soulja Boy responded to Fabolous:
"ON GOD NEXT TIME I SEE YOU BOY UMMA FOLD YOU I HOPE YOU READY LIL BOY @myfabolouslife," Soulja wrote. He ended up deleting the tweets on his page later. Luckily, the Twitter spat between the two rappers seems to be over with at this point, and they have moved on to other things.
These two celebrities are certainly not the first to have beef on Twitter. Our favorite Twitter drama involved Eminem and Nick Cannon in 2009. Why? It was definitely the most interesting clash we have seen thus far, because the quarrel was taken to tracks on the radio, the blogosphere and Twitter. It all centered around superstar Mariah Carey.
Although Carey repeatedly denied an intimate relationship with Eminem, he seemed quite adamant on proving that one had occurred. It all began with his track "Bagpipes From Baghdad," in which he asserted that he wanted Carey back -- yet he referred to her using explicit slurs. Oddly enough, Mariah Carey came out with a video for her song "Obsessed," which featured a male stalker character, who many thought was intended to mock Eminem.
For a while, based upon his lyrics, Eminem really did appear to have serious beef with the couple. He spent a great deal of time trying to prove that he had been involved with Mariah Carey. Why did Eminem care so much? We're not entirely sure. If any real relationship had occurred between the two celebrities, she had moved on with, Nick Cannon, at that point in time.
After Carey came out with "Obsessed," Eminem's "The Warning" was a direct attempt to dis the couple and "call Mariah out," so to speak. Of course, Cannon felt the need to defend his wife's honor, which is the reason the Twitter drama ensued in the first place.
Cannon responded to Eminem's "The Warning" with a variety of tweets on Twitter with original sentiments, famous quotes as well as a few remarks from the Bible.
According to MTV.com:
"While the tweets began as apparent attempts at keeping the peace, they became a little more pointed by the time Cannon wrapped up. 'No one but a fool would measure their satisfaction by what the world thinks of him,' he wrote, quoting Irish poet Oliver Goldsmith. Just after that, he tweeted, 'Trying to save a hater is like trying to teach astrophysics to a wino!' (apparently an original line)."
We definitely think the spat between Eminem and Nick Cannon was totally legit -- for many celebs it seems the Oscar Wilde quote is spot-on when it comes to Twitter: "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about." Twitter is one medium that represents a useful marketing tool for any celebrity. It allows them to cut out the middle man -- also known as the media -- and simply say what they want directly to their fans.
What can we learn from celebrity Twitter arguments? We all deal with drama from time to time. Celebrities are just like us -- no better or worse -- just human.

eminem did not respond on twitter to nick cannon (because he basically shut him and mariah up with that track) and thus it was not a twitter beef.
Good work on this.
Anything to keep their names in the media. I think sometimes they do all this to gain attentionand it works! Thanks.
