Everyone states that there is someone for everyone,
A perfect match, a soul mate, an eternal love.
One single person that will turn your world upside down,
Yet you cannot imagine your life without them.
A perfect match, a soul mate, an eternal love.

Yet you cannot imagine your life without them.
I've searched my life seeking for my "one true love",
Hoping and wishing I would know who she was when I saw her.
While searching I realized my "one true love" was not at all,
So I gave up searching, for she was not to be found.
It was then, and only then, when I realized my search was invalid,
For searching was not the way to "find my one true love".
Searching only causes you to lose sight of your soul mate
And when you stop looking they will be right there.
