SOUTH AZANIA

In Memory of the School Children of Soweto

Mr. Chip's
Hear the cry in the summer

Feet pounding, hands clapping

Voices shouting

"Freedom is coming tomorrow"

Blood spills, children squeal

The police guns aimed fire

People Fall for no cause

Innocent bodies lay on the ground

Backs torn open, life ebbing away

"Freedom is coming tomorrow"

But how many more must die

Before their cry is heard

"Freedom is coming tomorrow"

(This is the 7th anniversary of my tome. Originally written and still in memory of the "1976 Soweto School Children's Uprising" and this year in honor of my 44th President Barack Hussein Obama who makes history in my lifetime as our nation's and the world's first African American President of the United States of America in the 21st century. Furthermore, I also dedicate it to the continued fight for justice for all in all parts of our globe no matter what the situation for me currently, the earthquake in the nation of Haiti, the injustices in China and my support for the Dali Lama, the injustice in Darfur, Rwanda, in Somalia and elsewhere. In the mindset of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to paraphrase him our struggles are far from over, till we are all free everywhere. This year and in this century I wish the world a very Happy and Blessed African American History month)

  • the protest of the Soweto school children murdered by police
  • the injustice, fear, terror and genocide of apartheid South Afrika
  • the continuing struggle for a now New South Afrika free from apartheid
In 1976 kids were dying in streets of Soweto,Chief Nelson Mandela was being hunted by South Afrikaner police and a freedom fighter named Steve Biko was murdered by South Afrikaan police officials. In America they would have all been free.
